Abstract
The recipe for hunger-free world brings together a number of ingredients in combination to each other, aiming to get the best out of it and ultimately produce zero hunger. Hunger, people who struggle to eat a basic nutritious meal every day, is presented in the light of current conditions of starvations around the globe. According to a UN about 815 million people are undernourished worldwide out of which developing countries are densely populated with the hungriest people. Asia is holding the burden of 281 million undernourished people. 45% (almost half) deaths in children under five are due to under nutrition. 1 in 4 children are stunted, globally. 66 million primary school-age children are hungry while attending the classes, across the globe. The eradication of food wastage is the heart of the recipe to produce zero hunger. In developed countries, consumers plays the bigger part in food wastage, particularly on their plates while in developing countries food wastage occur during production, handling, storage techniques and poor transportation. The most needed ingredient, food security is to make nutritious food affordable and accessible, to every being alive as every life is vital. For a wider consumer base, farmers should have the complete infrastructure facilities. Agriculture sustainability is making full use of forests, oceans, fields and the remaining natural resources aiming to produce food, without causing any harm to the planet or damage to any other living creature. Elimination of poverty to achieve healthy lifestyle is one of the major add on in the recipe of hunger-free world. The actions and decisions of the nations, governments, private companies and stakeholders can address the issues and in a combine effort, they can undertake to reduce the negative effects and bring the staggering figure of hunger down to zero, because zero hunger sets the stage for a better world.
