Abstract

State failure and governance crises in several Muslim-majority countries have become central concerns in contemporary global politics and development studies. This article analyzes the structural, political, and economic drivers of institutional fragility, including weak governance, corruption, conflict, and external dependencies. It further explores how these factors contribute to economic collapse, social instability, and declining public trust. The study concludes that sustainable recovery requires institutional reform, economic diversification, and inclusive governance models.
