Zaigham J. Kayani is an accomplished journalist and broadcaster with over 30 years of experience in mass communication. He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication. His early career in Pakistan included roles as journalist and sub-editor at Daily Khabrain (1994–2001) and Editor of the South Asian Times (Urdu/English). He also hosted the Youth Magazine program on Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), Islamabad. In Canada, Mr. Kayani has hosted community radio programs on WTOR 770 AM (Toronto) and CFCR FM 90.5 (Saskatoon), and contributed to TV Shalimar in Saskatoon. He currently serves as CEO of Media South Asia Canada Inc. Deeply committed to public service, he was the Saskatchewan NDP provincial candidate for Saskatoon Silverspring-Sutherland in 2016 and the Federal NDP candidate for Brampton West in the 2025 Canadian federal election.
