Abstract

Canada is experiencing a complex housing crisis shaped by rapid population growth, rising immigration, and limited urban capacity. Increasing demand for housing has outpaced supply, driving affordability challenges in major cities. At the same time, infrastructure such as transportation, healthcare, and public services faces mounting pressure. This article examines the intersection of these forces and highlights the need for balanced policy responses that align immigration, housing development, and urban planning.
